L'Alt Empordà is a beautiful region with a total surface of approx. 2.000 km2. The territory is rich in protected natural areas and has a varied and extensive selection of natural resources.

This land is ideal for rural tourism visiting for example some of the nature reserves as well as for cultural tourism visiting some of the several museums or practising some leisure activities on their wonderful beaches.
